Support our Nurse Practitioner Colleagues by October 5th

In my role as president of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners, I have been working closely with state Sen. Rick Outman to advance legislation that would give full practice authority to nurse practitioners.

While Sen. Outman has agreed to introduce the bill, he still needs a co-sponsor. If you are a nurse practitioner, a friend or supporter of a nurse practitioner, or see the value of nurse practitioners having more authority to practice in the community, please contact your senators PRIOR to 10 a.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 5 and ask them to sign on to the bill as a cosponsor.
