Clara Ford Awards: A Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Hannah “demonstrates an extraordinary investment in the safety of our patients. She also takes it upon herself to provide exceptional support and service to our clinical and quality teams as well,” according to her nominator. She helped to form a team to work on decreasing Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) in the surgical intensive care unit, contributing to success in the SICU in reducing HAI and working on decreasing CLABSI, MRSA and CDIFF rates
