DESIGN THINKING:

AFRICAN AMERICAN

INNOVATORS PRESENTATION

An interactive workshop that will take participants through a full

cycle of the human-centered design process (empathy. define.

ideate. prototype. test.) to ideate and create solutions for healthcare,

wellness, and disease management. As the initial stage of innovation,

this form of design thinking can be applied to improve patient care,

create new products, or address any problem in healthcare.

Faculty, staff, trainees, students, patients, or family members of

patients who are interested in discussing innovative methods for

improving outcomes in healthcare disparities are invited to attend

this free presentation and workshop.
