 We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Clinical Practice Leader in the Medical ICU/PCU at Trinity Health Michigan in Ann Arbor. This role, reporting directly to our Nursing Director for Quality Outcomes and Professional Practice, is integral to our mission of providing exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Leadership: The Clinical Practice Leader will provide clinical leadership at the point of care, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
• Evidence-Based Practice: The Clinical Practice Leader will implement best practices based on evidence to improve patient outcomes.
• Mentorship and Education: This role includes mentoring and supporting nursing staff in their professional development.
• Quality Improvement: The Clinical Practice Leader will engage in quality improvement initiatives on improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

 Qualifications:

• Education: A graduate degree in nursing (Master of Science in Nursing [Clinical, Education, Administration all acceptable] or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) or enrollment in a BSN to DNP graduate program with completion of DNP degree within 6 months of hire).
• Experience: Three to five years of acute care nursing for the critical care population. Progressive experience in health care including involvement in direct patient care, educating staff, and problem solving of unit or organizational issues.
